| The Mercer County Sheriff's Office is responsible for registering and gathering personal, employment and address information on all sex offenders residing in Mercer County. This function is supervised by Detective Bill Glancey. Linked at the left you will see the website for the Illinois State Police Sex Offender Registration Unit, who maintains a statewide database with photos. If you have any questions or concerns about a sex offender please contact us at (309) 582-5194 or the ISP Sex Offender Registration Unit at (217) 785-0653. If you are a sex offender who is required to register with us, please contact the us ahead of time at (309) 582-5020 to insure an officer will be available. The annual registration fee is $100.00. |
